Suwanee Fest 2025: Going Jurassic for Its 41st Year

Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21 at Town Center Park, where the 41st annual Suwanee Fest promises two full days of prehistoric fun, creativity, and community spirit.

A Parade to Kick Things Off

The excitement begins Saturday morning at 9 a.m. with a Jurassic-themed parade featuring stampeding floats, costumed crews, and dino-sized creativity. It’s the perfect way to launch a weekend filled with family-friendly fun and local pride.

Explore the Festival Grounds

From handmade art and pottery to jewelry, snacks, and unique treasures, the vendor exhibits will have something for everyone. Strolling through the festival is a wonderful reminder of the talent and creativity thriving in our community.

For younger festival-goers, the Family Fun Zone is packed with interactive experiences, including:

• Fossil dig pit

• Fossil printmaking

• Science experiments

• Fernbank Museum’s On The Go Team

Kids can even “hatch” a baby dinosaur, and of course, enjoy rides and inflatables throughout the weekend.

New & Returning Attractions

Fan favorites like the Touchdown Tent, Sensory Tent, and Ped Shade will be back this year. Plus, 2025 introduces the Youth on the Rise Tent—a special space where local entrepreneurs, aged 18 and under, showcase their creativity and business ideas. This flexible setup is designed to encourage young sellers, many of whom may be experiencing their first public event.

Live Music & Performances

The festival wouldn’t be complete without live entertainment! Both days are packed with performances, from drumlines and dance crews to local singers and bands.

🎶 Saturday’s Highlights: NeXus Drumline, Stayin’ Alive Crew, Lawrenceville-Suwanee School of Music, Justin Shelton, Neon Rose, Supply Chain, and more.
🎶 Sunday’s Highlights: Dance Lab Pac, North Gwinnett Middle School Guitars, GA Boot Belles, Sofia Hermoyian, Eric Parker, and Stars and Scars.

Roaming entertainers will also keep the energy high throughout the festival grounds.

Before heading home, stop by the photo booth to grab a snapshot with one of four Jurassic backdrops—a perfect keepsake from a weekend of community fun.
